Why I created my coaching program "From Pages to Platform" (and Why It Feels Like a Mission, Not Just a Business)
For years, I was the woman with the notebook always half-full, the document always open, the idea always brewing. I lived in the margins of writing—obsessed with learning, preparing, and perfecting, but terrified to be seen. I wrote, and then I hid. I published, and then I whispered.
And that’s when it hit me: writing is only half the story.
After publishing my first book, I quickly realized that finishing the manuscript wasn’t the finish line—it was just the beginning. I didn’t need more words on a page. I needed a platform. I needed a voice that could carry my message beyond the bookshelf and into the hearts of readers. But the truth is, I didn’t know where to start. I had no roadmap. And I sure didn’t have the confidence to call myself an “author” out loud.
So I created "From Page to Platform" —because every author deserves more than just a printed book and a pat on the back. They deserve a strategy, a spotlight, and a stage.
Now, I help new and aspiring authors build more than just a book—I help them build a brand. I guide them to uncover their message, own their story, and get in front of the right audience—not just by posting on social, but by speaking on podcasts, showing up at local events, and confidently sharing their voice in real life. Because writers aren’t just storytellers—they’re leaders. And they deserve to be both seen and heard.
My mission is simple: to help you move from page to platform—because your book is only the beginning of the impact you’re meant to make.
Jamie is a captivating author known for her first non-fiction book written in honor of her late brother about his struggles with Borderline Personality Disorder. With a knack for educating readers in a compassionate way, her book keeps readers engaged from beginning to end.
When not writing, she enjoys exploring new places for inspiration.
I didn’t set out to write a book. I set out to understand. When my brother died by suicide, I wasn’t just grieving his death—I was grieving the version of him the world never really got to see. He was never the life of the party, but he was always the guy with big dreams, fast comebacks, and an intensity that could fill a room—but behind closed doors, he was spiraling. His brain was a battlefield, and we didn’t have the right words or tools to name what was happening.
He had a personality disorder. But we didn't know.
I wrote this book because I needed to make sense of it all. The chaos, the confusion, the self-destruction. I wanted to look beyond the behavior and dig into the misunderstood brain behind it. I wanted to tell the truth—not just the highlight reel or the heartbreaking end, but the messy, maddening middle that so many families live through in silence.
This book is for anyone who's ever loved someone hard to love. For anyone who's tried to hold up a mirror to someone who refuses to look. For anyone who's lost someone before they ever really got the chance to live.
Writing From VIP to RIP was therapy, confession, and confrontation all rolled into one. It’s how I honored my brother—and how I finally gave myself permission to stop fixing, start feeling, and speak out loud what so many are afraid to say. If this book helps even one person feel less alone, more understood, or brave enough to get help, then my brother’s story—and my grief—will not have been in vain.
Warning: This book explores mental issues relating to Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), High Conflict Personality (HCP), addiction disorders, and makes sensitive references to behaviors leading to self-destruction and suicide. There is some foul language used.
A workbook created for individuals and families dealing with Borderline Personality Disorder -
for your own sanity or for that of your loved one.
